Jasmine Rice

Has over 20 years of dance experience. She has completed extensive training in Ballet, Lyrical, Modern, Jazz, Tap and Pointe. Jasmine began as an assistant teacher at the age of 15. At the age of 16 she was accepted into the Borinquen Dance Theatre of New York as a Company Member. She has attended many dance workshops, including training under internationally known Garth Fagan. She has completed teacher certifications in the RAD method of ballet. She completed training with the Arthur Murray School of Dance in Ballroom instruction. She has choreographed for competitive dance teams, theatre musical productions and cheer teams. Most recently she has lived in Virginia. Jasmine has spent the last 13 years instructing all disciplines of dance. She implemented dance recreation programs at the local Air Force Base, as well as, beginning dance programs in area preschool and daycare centers. She performed with the cheer/dance teams for the Fayetteville Fire Ants Hockey Team and the Fayetteville Guard Indoor Football Teams. She has degrees in Elementary Education, Liberal Arts and Psychology/Counseling. Jasmine is currently completing her Masters in Education. She has worked in the North Carolina school systems teaching Kindergarten and Pre-Kindergarten and currently works at Banning Lewis Ranch Academy in Colorado Springs. Jasmine received her Pilates Certification in 2004. She has a supportive husband and three wonderful children.
